Celebrate 1 Decade, JBA Auction Hall Opens Largest Branch

JBA inaugurated its 17th branch on the 1st Anniversary of the Decade as an automotive auction hall in Indonesia.

Jakarta, 23 November 2021 – In November 2021, the JBA Indonesia Automotive Auction Center has been auctioning used vehicles for the past 10 years. JBA's journey, which began with motorcycle auctions in the Meruya area, West Jakarta, has now had 17 branches and 18 hubs spread throughout Indonesia. And has auctioned more than one million used cars and motorcycles since November 2011.

Exactly, at the age of 10 this year JBA opened a new branch located on Jl. Husein Sastranegara, Rawa Lele Warehouse Complex, Kalideres, West Jakarta. The new branch called JBA Jakarta Raya officially held its first auction today (23/11).

“This branch is a JBA business maneuver that has been planned since early 2020 and becomes a JBA branch with the largest pool in Indonesia. JBA Jakarta Raya is also a moving branch of JBA Jakarta Meruya which also auctions cars. In addition to business expansion, the move from JBA Meruya to JBA Jakarta Raya is also due to the need for a wider pool unit and auction facility than the one in Meruya," said Deny Gunawan as Chief Operating Officer of JBA Indonesia.

This new branch can accommodate more than 1,500 auction units for cars and heavy equipment with an area of more than 4 hectares. Heavy equipment from dump trucks to excavators gets a special pool and has its own auction time in this new branch. In addition, JBA Jakarta Raya has three auction sites that can accommodate 500 bidders.

Prior to the Greater Jakarta JBA, the JBA Auction Hall had also relocated the Bandung branch of the JBA branch to a wider area. Also opened new pools in Indonesia, Kendari and Sampit. In addition to adding a pool and relocating branches, in this 10th year, JBA is also innovating digital services, starting from auction registration and online payments.
